If the BOINC folks really want computing power, then they will need to reach out to the (very large) majority of computer users who are not computer specialists themselves. But I cannot figure out the interface without more than a modest time investment, so I cannot practically contribute my computers to these projects. I am a Stanford professor with some computer skills. It is the same reason that I was searching for this thread. We can easily guess why this person is trying to uninstall/delete BOINC. If it is a simple matter of deleting the program, then the information and explanation should be in the help manual, not in the message board. ![]()
